Artür, would it be possible to somehow divide this into smaller, well tested and documented PRs? This looks like a lot for one PR 🥹 Smaller PRs will also help not running into another huge divergence as things progress before it's all all done. |

I think the tests and docs are fine, but we can remove the formatting utilities and write the elements as zarr v3 and sd 0.2 versions to make it simpler for now. |
